Tune in to FM at Harrods
Thursday 27th April 2006

Hard and Soft FM, and the Concept™ User Group

To continue the success of the Tune in to FM seminar series, FSI (FM Solutions) Limited would like to invite you to the next seminar in the series:

Tune in to FM at Harrods ('The Harrodian Suite') on Thursday 27th April 2006, from 10:00am, will continue where the 2006 seminar series commenced at the Bank of England: to explore the science and processes that makes Facilities Management increasingly a bottom line benefit to end users.

Now in its third year, the free seminar series, created by FSI, brings together keynote speakers, to discuss the latest developments within the industry, to delegates from a range of user sectors, and encourages dialogue and best practice.

Previous Tune in to FM seminars have been held at the London Stock Exchange, Sheffield Hallam University, Landflex, the Ministry of Defence, Anglia Polytechnic University, Airbus, the Natural History Museum and the Bank of England.

The speaker line-up for the seminar on Thursday 27th April, at Harrods ('The Harrodian Suite') includes:

  • Aseai Zlaoui, Technical Systems & Energy Manager, and Gordon Vanderputt, PPM Technical Officer, at Harrods - the use of Concept™ at Harrods, and how it has changed the Engineering & Building Maintenance Department.
  • Wilton Farrelly, Divisional Managing Director at Martin FM, a division of H&J Martin: established in 1840, and operating throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.  Four major divisions of the business comprise Construction, Major Projects, Shop fitting and Facilities Management.  Projects include Stormont, the seat of Northern Ireland's government, the PPP project at the City Hospital and the M4I Partnering arrangement at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast - The experiences of the Contractor delivery side, aspects of Facilities Management delivery, and the future plans of H&J Martin.
  • Peter Middup, Publisher, PFM & FM Report - A different perspective on FM from one of the UK's premier FM publications.
You will also have the opportunity to address the speakers regarding their related fields of expertise in the closing Q&A session, as well as the lunch/networking session.
  • Rebecca Bradley, Head of Facilities at the London Stock Exchange/FMA Young Managers Forum committee member, and Victoria Bradley, Operations Manager at FM-24/FMA Young Managers Forum committee member: Young people in FM.

FSI are very excited to announce there will be a private viewing of Harrods from 9:30am, before the store opens and before the Tune in to FM seminar commences.  The tour includes the Egyptian escalators, the food courts, the new Fine Jewellery rooms and the Harrods engine rooms.  Should you wish to be a part of this rare opportunity, please advise ASAP, as this is on a first-come, first-served basis.  You will be notified by FSI if you have successfully gained a place on the private viewing of Harrods.

Book your place on the Tune in to FM seminar early to avoid disappointment!

The next Concept™ User Group will also take place at Harrods, between 1:30-3:00pm.  When booking your place on the Tune in to FM seminar, please advise if you wish to attend the Concept™ User Group.

Further information, including an agenda and map/directions will be emailed to you closer to the event.

I look forward to seeing you at Harrods, on Thursday 27th April 2006.
