FSI (FM Solutions) Limited joins FMA stand at Building Performance 2004

FSI has, over a number of years, developed a long-standing relationship with the FMA and this latest association highlights FSI’s solutions led approach to Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM). According to FSI’s MD Jim Mitchell: “Our affiliation with FMA and other key industry players provides an ideal opportunity for visitors to witness the impact cutting edge technology continues to have on the FM world.” FSI will not only be addressing the importance of CAFM and integration tools but spotlighting its flagship Concept™ software and newly launched Workflow module, whilst showcasing a range of solutions packages specially designed for the FM community. According to FSI technical director Karl Horner: “Workflow Professional is all about transferring power from IT managers and FSI consultants to the business managers. Workflow can become the ‘glue’ for business processes. This is the first CAFM module that lets managers and non-experts define and write automated business rules instead of the usual reliance on professional programmers”. Further collaborations include Maurice Tidy (FMA Director General) chairing the latest seminar from FSI’s own facilities management forum, ‘Tune in to FM’. Scheduled for September, the seminar will be hosted at Landflex head office in London. “The FMA has a policy of partnering with innovative FM businesses and our mission is to develop best practice across the industry,” explains Tidy.
