FSI (FM Solutions) Ltd, developers of the multi award-winning Concept™ Computer Aided Facilities Management software, led a list of industry-related speakers at the 30th Annual Maintenance Management conference and exhibition, by discussing innovation with housing software systems, on FSI’s Denne Maintenance (Swale Housing Association) and Peterborough City Council (Cross Keys Homes) projects.
Adrian Jarvis, Business Development Manager, outlined how facilities management software and other technology tools have provided innovative best practice solutions for the management of Local Government housing stock. Adrian also provided an overview of the two projects delivered by FSI, and the Concept™ tools utilised. Heinrich Serfontein, Business Relationship Manager, concluded by providing a summary of the benefits realised on these projects.
Other presentations included Tour Andover Controls Limited, who gave an introduction to integrated building systems maintenance and support. The Lowe Group and ACE Europe Limited discussed whether your University could survive an Electrical Inspection by the HSE, and the University Insurer’s view of Risk Management and Contractor Control, respectively.
Now in its 30th year, the Annual Maintenance Managers Conference brings together delegates from the University sector, to share each others’ experiences and problems. FSI were invited to present at the Conference due to our successful and long-standing relationship with this years’ hosts Sheffield Hallam University, who have used Concept™ since 1998, for managing the Universities facilities on a day-to-day basis.
